Treat Where It Matters Most

GLIADEL® Wafer (carmustine implant): Clinically shown to extend survival in patients with1:

  • Newly diagnosed high-grade glioma as an adjunct to surgery and radiation
  • Recurrent glioblastoma as an adjunct to surgery

For your eligible adult patients with newly diagnosed high-grade glioma (HGG) and recurrent glioblastoma (GBM), NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology (NCCN Guidelines®) recommend (NCCN Category 2B) including carmustine wafer (GLIADEL Wafer) as an option during maximal safe resection.2,a

aBased upon lower-level evidence, there is National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) consensus (≥50%, but <85% support of the panel) that the intervention is appropriate.2

NCCN Guidelines® contain other treatment regimens. NCCN makes no warranties of any kind whatsoever regarding their content, use or application and disclaims any responsibility for their application or use in any way.
